Impression Obsession DT Challenge: To Die For

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project using die cuts. Here's my card:

This is one of the fun new background dies that's part of our new release - if you like what you see today, stay tuned - we'll be having a blog hop next week (Oct. 24-26) showcasing all the new dies for you!

I cut the background out of white paper, and stuck that to the back of a sheet of label paper. After that I could cut scraps to fill in the circles and other openings.

A great tip for doing something like this - if you can keep the cut paper in the die, it's easy to lay the die into the cut paper frame, and the pieces stuck in the die will stick into the exposed label paper.

The sentiment is one of my new ones - it's here.

  2. Great tip, label paper! Got to try that as I love inlaid die cuts, and that die with the circles looks like so much fun, and so versatile. Great card!
