Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Fanciful Florals

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project featuring flowers.

I had a little fun with my MISTI, some ColorBox Fluid Chalk inks, a few 3" Art Squares from Inchie Arts, and with this clear set:

Watercolor Wildflowers clear set

With each layer of color, I positioned one leaf or flower in the MISTI, stamped it, then turned the square and stamped in the same position on each edge. Each panel turned into its own little perfect wreath, with really interesting white space in the center as well.

It was fun creating a kaleidoscope-y pattern on each square, and trying different color combinations. I have a box of these ink pads - some are super juicy and some are just not...

The string die is Tied Line - such a cute way to add a horizontal eye line without adding bulk. The sentiment is from my Everyday Words clear set.

  2. Thanks for sharing your clever "Misti Wreath" technique. Your cards are so lovely - such different looks just by changing the stamp position and colour: brilliant!
