Loose Florals - Take 2

I decided I needed to spend more time playing with loose florals so I did one more piece for the Mix-Ability challenge - this one is done on a matboard piece - these are Swatches from Inchie Arts and they're 2"x4" -  it's a great size for card fronts.

I used a drop of Hydrus Quinacridone Magenta liquid watercolor to paint this piece - I started from the flower centers and then worked out, using wider strokes than I had before (when I was overthinking!). I stamped a script stamp over the panel and embossed it with white detail powder. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things. I used my Scor-Buddy to run the double line around the panel and sentiment, just to break up the white a bit.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!  I've got a swap to finish up, and I'll share that on Monday - it's a bird theme, and birds are one of my favorite things to paint!
Thanks for stopping by!
