Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Seasons Greetings
The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project for the holidays.
I needed a quick card, so I found a pretty print from my gel print file, and stamped the Wisemen Collage image over it - a MISTI is great for this, since the paint creates a bumpy surface. Where the Versafine ink didn't cover, I filled in with a Pitt marker - those are filled with India ink, which works well over acrylic paint.
I masked off everything below the mountains and added some splatters of white India ink for stars, then painted in some silver highlights on the star. I was so thrilled with the way the Sunburst Background die worked for my card base - I debossed the image in my BigShot, using a sandwich of a cutting plate, the flexible embossing plate, watercolor paper, the die, and 3 cereal box shims.
