Splitcoast Tutorial: Coffee Gift Card

I had so much fun creating this tutorial for Splitcoast today! It's been in my head for a long time, and this season of weather change just seemed like the right time to bring it out. This is a coffee shaped card...

When you open the card a flap pulls up a gift card from a pocket inside. It's an easy construction, and so fun to open and close. Sentiment can be found HERE. Hope you'll check out the tutorial!

I added instructions for a simple shaped card, in case you didn't want the gift card feature - for my card I used a retired set from The Cat's Pajamas. TCP is one of our Hope You Can Cling To sponsors, and they've donated $200 in prizes for our participants - just one card qualifies you for the drawings, and there are some amazing prizes to be won.

Here's a close-up on that little coffee-sipping dude - so cute! I colored the image with Touch Twin Markers.

Hope you'll try this one out!
Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you, Maria! I got him from The Cat's Pajamas but I think he is retired. :( I don't see any of his friends anymore, so that artist must have moved on.

  2. Love this! My card friends and I made these coffee cards a few years ago, and at the time, we mentioned we should make them into gift card holders, but moved on before we did anything about it. Now you've done the hard part for us! Thanks!!
