Splitcoast Tutorial: MISTI Marbling

This week's tutorial over on Splitcoast is a fun and easy way to use the MISTI for creating a marbled effect on solid images. It's called MISTI Marbling, and my dear friend Lydia does a great job of explaining how it's done!

I decided to go with a clean and simple masculine card, using stamps from dkdesigns. I stamped the circle image several times, using a variety of inks in neutral colors. I threw in a little stamp 'kissing' as well.

I stamped the pen and word images 3 or 4 times with the MISTI to get a really solid, dark black. I love how that looks!

Stamps I used: Calligraphy Pen 2, Create, Grunge Circles, Splatter 1, Dot Border, French Handwriting

Seriously, this is a work of art and I find it fascinating and beautiful to look at. The pen image is so crisp and solid I would want to pick it up!
