Splitcoast Tutorial - Double Diamond Fold

Today's tutorial over on Splitcoast is an elegant card called a Double Diamond Fold Card. I hope you'll come over and take a peek at Joann's gorgeous sample - she has such a beautiful way of using dimensional die cut flowers and flourishes.

Here's my card - I added a ribbon closure for presentation. The panels are hot press watercolor paper, and I used markers (Zig and Distress) for the coloring.

The cards are beautiful on display - here's a peek inside mine.

Have a wonderful day - I'll be back tomorrow with a special art journal page!

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. This is really beautiful and has a lovely feminine feel. Hopefully not as complicated as it looks to put together! I'll have to check out the tutorial.

  4. Loved making this card but cannot figure out how to hide the 'triangles" that are in the back. They never show in pictures..

    1. I saw an another tutorial and I saw triangles. But for this one, I don't know but, I would really want to know. May be cut them with cutter???

    2. When I made my version of this card, I covered all my triangles on the front. When the card is folded, only the front shows. I used a paper trimmer to cut my triangles and my diamonds. I just made them 1/8 inch smaller so I had an edge all around. Cheers!

    3. I folded the triangles inwards and they do not appear anymore. I do it before the decoration. Aloes I actually have two diamonds. Have a good day Thanks Scottygirl too
