Mix-Ability - Red, White and Blue

Happy 4th! I'm late posting for this week's Mix-Ability challenge - Tiffany wanted us to use red, white and blue on our projects.

I've had this sweet sentimental stamp for a couple of years, but hadn't used it - it's an image from Stampa Rosa that I got on ebay because it pulled at my heart. The little boy is colored with Touch Twin Markers (CG1, 3, 5) and his flag is colored with Polychromos Pencils. I stamped him on a 4" Art Square that I had cut in half (so it's 2" x 4", the same size as the stamp block).

The accent squares are done with Brusho, which I have been using obsessively this last week in prep for next week's tutorial! They're mounted on Inchie matboard squares.

Have a safe and happy weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

  5. I am agreeing with everyone's comments here, Dina. My initial reaction was, "Whoa, that is nice!" The boy image is wonderful. Your coloring and shading is great. And, of course the coloring on all the squares and flag are great!
