Nerdy bird

**I still have 2 more grab boxes on my sale page - they're getting fuller every day!**

This week's Mix-Ability challenge is an interesting technique involving adhesive, salt, and watercolor. I probably didn't read follow the directions, but the spirit of the challenge was to experiment, so I'll justify it that way! I started by spreading modeling paste through a stencil, sprinkling salt and Brusho, and then spritzing with water... I'm not sure that the salt had much effect besides making the panel sparkly, but it was fun to play!

I die cut a corner of my panel to create this little nerdy owl - I love him! He's from the latest die release from Impression Obsession, as is this fun nesting frame. The sentiment is here and the branch die is here.

Instead of nesting all the eye pieces I used tiny pearls for the owl's eyes... I also flipped his feet, and cut his little bottom flat so it looked like he was sitting.

That's all I know! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
