ATC Fold Over Box and retreat pictures

Just wanted to share another of the projects we made at the retreat, and some more pictures just for fun... this is a Fold Over Box but resized so that an Inchie Arts matboard ATC can be used as the cover (measurements are HERE).

In the class we used Color Burst Watercolor Powder to create our own designer paper for the box sides and base, and then used Color Burst and Peerless paints for a no-line watercolor technique on the box top. The seam binding was dyed with Color Burst as well... this can't be washed, but for cards and other altered projects, the color is so vibrant!

Here are some more pictures from the retreat!

Eager attendees, ready to start stamping! There were 100 ladies at the retreat, divided into 4 groups, and they rotated through 4 very different classes.

My class was the messy one!

We started with an info session on Color Burst and then everyone had their own chance to get messy and play. It was a lot of fun!

I shared the tree card the other day - everyone's samples were beautiful!

Here are all the retreat instructors together - Angelica Turner, me, Peggy Jo Ackley and Karen Lockhart of Pink Ink Stamps, and Sharon Caudle.

 So much fun!

Thanks for stopping by!
