Mix-Ability Challenge: Tongue Tied

 This week's Mix-Ability challenge is to create a sentiment or word art with two or more stamps. I cheated just a little... my second word is die cut. :)

I stamped the Celebrate word stamp, using a gridded acrylic block to help me space the impressions evenly. I used a water-soluble graphite pencil and blender pen to add some shading to the die cut - not really happy with the way that photographed but I like that technique in general for adding detail to silhouettes and solid shapes.

I used the Inlaid Die Cuts technique with the couple and the word die... the die cut word is layered 4 times to give it some lift from the card. The couple die is coming soon from Impression Obsession... the word die is part of THIS fun set.
