CHA Sneak Peeks Day 4

The Impression Obsession team is showcasing some new images being introduced this week at CHA! You can visit the I.O. Blog each day this week for links to the previews. Be sure to leave a comment on our designers' posts throughout the week for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate daily from Impression Obsession!

There are a variety of playful silhouette images in my new release as well - traditionally we think of silhouettes as being black, but I loved playing with them in color here for this little scene. I used Aquacolor markers to ink my stamps up, with a quick spritz of water before printing.

I gave the girls a loose puddle to play in, then pulled some of the green ink into the paint for a reflection. I splattered blue and pearl paint over the scene, loosely masking the girls with a Post-it note.

Using lighter colors also allows some shading to be added to the image - even just a slight color change can add so much depth.Be sure to check out these other designers' blogs for inspiration, and comment for more chances to win!
