Mix-Ability - Inchies!
This week's Mix-Ability challenge was to play with Inchies - I just happen to have a few of those laying around! ;) I also get to give you a peek at a brand new stamp from Impression Obsession's Valentine release! Here's my card...
I started by coloring the rose stamp on Neenah paper with my Touch Twin Markers, then used the Sizzix GridWorks die to cut the image into precise 7/8" squares. I layered those onto black matboard Inchies from Inchie Arts and reassembled the image. I'll confess that took me a while, and I almost called in my 10-year-old for support.
This background was an experiment with PanPastels, Versamark ink, and an embossing folder... I inked up the folder with the Versamark ink then applied the PanPastels after embossing. I stamped lightly over the image after it was sealed to just stamp a script background on the raised areas of the panel.

This is just so gorgeous! Wow!
ReplyDeleteOh Dina, this is stunning!!! what amazing depth you gave to this rose image!! I didn't know there was a grid die, so I went to look for it and I found it on Amazon, thank you for alerting me about this die, it'll be so much easier than trying to measure and cut with a trimmer.
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is amazing Dina and the layout is gorgeous, thank you for sharing.
What an awesome card. You made me laugh when you said you almost called your 10-year-old for support. The yellow is so very pretty and that black ribbon goes so well with the card.
