Mix-Ability Challenge: Artist inspired
This week's Mix-Ability challenge is an inspiration challenge. I have to confess that I didn't look at this post from France Papillon's blog before I created my canvas... it's actually been several months in the making (and for most of that time it was buried under other projects on my desk). But when I saw France's journal page, I saw similar colors and layout - even a copper flower on her, and some similar techniques. So... perhaps by pure serendipity... this is my entry for this week.
Another confession... this was a piece of art that I did "for me" and I didn't keep track of the supplies I used. I used acrylic paints and markers...
the writing is done with Derwent Graphik Line Painter pens...
and the masked letters were die cut from Frog Tape.
You can find a tutorial for die cut copper sheeting HERE - this flower has been floating around on my desk since that tutorial was published in June!
Hope you'll find something on France Papillon's blog that inspires you! Join us!
