Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Holiday Greetings

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a holiday project. I wanted to paint, so I made this watercolor card.

 This is the larger Baby Jesus image (the smaller one is here).  The card is watercolored using QoR watercolors... I also experimented a little with some masking fluid on the hay and some spattering in the background. The sentiment is called Come.

Here's a closer look at the stamped image... I'm getting braver with face shading - it's so tricky! I'm forever distracted during conversations, noticing details of how shadows fall...
