Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Fruits & Veggies

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project using a fruit or vegetable image. I ended up using just dies to create my card, no stamps at all.

I started by running the Large Bird on Branch die through my Big Shot using the embossing plates, so it just created an impression on the watercolor card. I used that outline to guide my watercoloring, done with  Aquamarkers, and Distress markers.

I cut the branches (Leafy Branch) from another watercolor panel, colored them lightly with watercolor markers, then spritzed them to blend the color. The apples are actually cherries from the Cupcake die set.

I thought the Large Fence die helped ground the scene just a little more.
