Coming up...
Just a note to let you know... things are a little crazy around here!
We made the decision last week to take a medical leave, and we're packing up to move our family to the States for a year... in less than 3 weeks!
I'm prescheduling lots of projects and posts while my supplies are still out, so if things seem a little off around the blog, it's because it's on autopilot. Work is play and it keeps me sane, in between sorting and packing. Maybe I'm in denial, but with everything up in the air, it's nice to have one thing still running as usual...
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we wrap up here, travel, and then settle in and find our new groove!
Wishing you all the best.

safe travels Dina - I will keep you and your family in my prayers as you go through this major family transition.

If my crazy life taught me anything last year, it's that one can survive the impossible, if you just put one foot in front of the other and refuse to look beyond that one step. That, and lots of prayer! And there's a lot of that being lifted up for you and your family.... {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteDina, of all the comments I've read, Kathy Lund's is the one I would continue to read over and over again. Wisdom abounds in her statement. You are loved beyond measure. Focus on your main priority and God will see you through. Now when you need a break, drink in the beauty of your surroundings and let it bring your peace and rest. Sending a gentle pat on your hand (she smiles).
ReplyDeleteSafe travels, deep breaths, peace and blessings to you all ♥
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father be with Dina and her family as they get ready to come back to the states. I pray that You'd help her knowing what and how to pack. Thank You for her sanity in the world of crafting and the beautiful art that You have so blessed her with. Thank You for her blessing us with that creativity. Give the Drs and family wisdom in the medical world and I pray that You'd provide healing. In Jesus name, Amen
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours the best under the circumstances. One day at a time. Be safe and know you are in our hearts, our thoughts and prayers. Courage!
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you and your family, Dina, during this transition.
ReplyDeleteThe Lord ordains all your steps.
ReplyDeleteKeep a peaceful heart.
Praying.
I think it's AWESOME! Not the medical leave part, of course, but the fact you're coming back to the US! I feel like I know you personally; you've been a major presence at SCS as long as I've been there. Because of that, I know y'all do mission work in Indonesia, you homeschool, take care of your family, work as a part of the mission, work full-plus time on DT's, SCS and creating and maintaining your own designs. Along with that, you must always be available and on-call and ready to move in a moment because, let's be honest, God isn't real big on the 'save the date' thing. When He says go, you GO! Or He'll make you...and we all know that it's not a good idea to make Him resort to that. LOL I just think that with all you do, trying to 'do' all that will be much easier on this time schedule and with easier access to product...not to mention the EXTRA work you'll do when we newbies are bugging you with questions. (I say 'we' because...well...I'm not the ONLY one who does that! Am I? :) I'm praying for safe travel, but I'm really putting an emphasis on you finding enough support about 6 months from now, when the newness of having you back for fam, friends and support systems, has waned a little....THAT'S when I find I need the MOST help!! Welcome back, Dina and fam! I hope the medical issues are easily resolved and that your transition is easy. I also hope you know that, all kidding aside, you are much admired and respected and there are many of us who will stay on the prayer train for some time to come!
ReplyDeleteNot so happy about the medical reasons but I am thrilled you're coming home - especially if it's near your folks. Many blessings and safe travels. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you and your family. We moved a lot also and were in Spain when my husband was diagnosed with MS, we had to come back to the States, but once the decision was made we left everything into the Lord's hands and it has all worked pretty well. My prayers are with you.

Will be praying that you will be blessed with all the answers you need for the medical issues and that your journey back will be uneventful. Relying on the Lord to give you strength and pick you up when you have no more energy of your own will see you through. Blessings!

Dina,
ReplyDeleteSending hugs and prayers for your family Sister! Safe travels. God Bless you!
Take care and STAY POSITIVE!
Best wishes to you and your family! It will be good to have you back here in the US!

In a way, you are a citizen of the world, Dina....but more than that....of heaven, too. "Coming home" will feel, perhaps, a lot like "leaving home". May you feel the comforting presence of the Lord Jesus as He tenderly brings healing and rest and as He guides you and your family each step of the way.
