Flourishes Blog Parade

Last month Flourishes announced big changes on the horizon... in celebration of this beautiful company, owner Jan Marie extended an open invitation to a blog parade. What a sweet way to embrace the beauty of Flourishes' images, and the community and heart that make this company truly special. It has truly been a blessing to be a part of this company, as a guest contributor, Beautiful World team member, and stamp designer.

A sweet friend here gave me a passion flower vine for Christmas, and it's been fun to watch it 'take' in its new environment, and begin to grow. It has its own little handmade trellis in my flower bed. I love the little creeping tendrils, and I can't wait to see it bloom!

I used the Passion Flower set for my card today, and watercolored the image using Shinhan Premium Watercolors.

Texture was added to the background by stippling inks and watercolor paint through drywall tape.
