Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Blue

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a blue card. Here's a quick birthday card for my stash! Love this little Gift Bag image from Gail Green... I have to remind myself from time to time to use the smaller stamps in my collection.

For the background I used patterned cardstock. I embossed CAC Damask with clear powder, and scraped over the piece with white acrylic paint. I'll share that tutorial later this month. I completely forgot I had CAC Birthday Words in my stash - it was all the way in the back!

Here's a closer look at the gift bag - it's watercolored using Shinhan Premium Watercolors and embellished with a little snip of tissue paper. The wired burlap ribbon is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
