Snowy Walk

Here's another card for the current Impression Obsession challenge - there's still time to enter if you haven't yet! It also fits for this week's Mix-Ability challenge to make a holiday card. This is one of Gary Robertson's winter designs, and it's colored with Touch Twin Markers but I don't have a record of which colors I used - so sorry about that! I added some white acrylic paint for smoke and shaded with pencil, too.

The image is called Coming Home - in his last release Gary had a few images with people in them, and I love the sentiment that adds to his scenes.

Remember you can enter these challenges too, using your Impression Obsession stamps! See the I.O. blog for all the details - you might even win a $25 gift certificate!! We'd love to have you join us.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Wow, I am just stunned at how you made this look so real and dimensional - seriously, this needs a frame!

  2. When I saw this card on FB I thought it was an old photograph. Wow! Dina, you work is wonderful. I would love to see this card in real life. I know a lot of people put ribbon and bows on their cards. But... this bow, this bow was meant to be right where you placed it. Gorgeous shading that really brings out the perspective of the stamp image. The added shadowing adds even more depth (even the colors you chose). The bow in my humble opinion really added the last layer of dimension - just WoW, WoW, WoW!!!
