Inchie Arts & Heartfelt Creations
It's time again for the Heartfelt Creations
Design Team Alumni monthly blog hop... it's been a few months since I played along! We've chosen the last
Tuesday of each month to share a project featuring Heartfelt
Creations' stamps when we can, just for fun. If you'd
like a chance at winning a prize, be sure to leave a comment on every
blog along the hop by Friday - there is a $25 gift certificate up
for grabs for one random commenter! If you're already hopping and you've come from Selma's blog, you're doing just fine! If you'd like to view the entire hop, pop on back to her blog and take a peek - she is at the top of the list.
I created a scene using 2 older Heartfelt Creations stamps, the bare tree and rustic fence... I stamped the tree first, then masked it so the fence would appear to be behind it. The scene is stamped on a card which is 3-1/2" square - this is a product from Inchie Arts, which is a great size for mounting their matboard squares, or for drawing or stamping directly! I have some plans for using this small card on another project next month.
The scene is colored with just 2 Polychromos Pencils and a white acrylic marker. I used a Tim Holtz stencil for a little help in placing the sun rays. Grounding, shading and shadows are subjects I teach about in my online Pencil Basics class, so it was fun to play and practice with those concepts.
I added Autumn and Citrus Flower Soft for more dimension on the tree. I miss fall!! *sigh*
