Back with Blick!
So excited to be able to work again as an affiliate for Blick Art Materials! Just so you know, if you purchase art supplies through the link here and/or in my sidebar, a little commission comes my way... that helps me keep up my stock of paints and pencils, so I can keep sharing arty goodness on my blog. So thanks in advance!
I was excited to see that Blick is now carrying Touch Twin Markers too! Keep an eye on their sales if you've been waiting to get the markers at a discount.
Here's a card I made for Dare To Get Dirty using Premium Watercolors from Shinhan Art - that bright pink is called Opera. Love it - so vivid (and probably the only Opera that can be played without protest in our shared office!!).
I used a salt technique to get the mottled effect in the background (Cobalt Green and Greenish Yellow paints used there).
Stamps used are from Impression Obsession: Darling Dahlia, Friends Forever, Riding Pretty Clear Set)
Hope you're having a great week! Can't even believe we're to the middle of it already. It's been a busy one here, with standardized testing at home, working on writing a colored pencil course (!!!), wrapping up Dare To Get Dirty, and getting into a class time routine on campus. What's going on in your corner of the world?
Y U M, just beautiful. Love this card, you are just so talented. Wonderful colours, both the flower and the background.
