Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Anything Goes

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a card. Period! Any entry using Impression Obsession stamps is just fine.

Last week there was a challenge on Splitcoaststampers to use the Emboss Resist technique - there are several variations of this technique that all involve coloring over a clear embossed image. I embossed the Darling Dahlia image in with clear powder, then colored the panel using a waterbrush and Ranger reinkers (Shell Pink, Currant, and Lemonade). The sentiment is HERE.

To allow the inks to bleed and blend into each other, I wet the entire panel with a spray bottle, then brushed and dotted the inks, beginning with the lightest color, and adding more color each time.

Be sure to check out these other designers' blogs for inspiration -

Daniela @ For the First Time
Jeanne @ Inky Paws
Jenny @ One Krafty Kat
Julie @ Out to Impress
Kittie @ Kittie Kraft
Laura @ Laura's Stamp Art Journal
Vicki @ Summerthyme Studio

Remember you can enter these challenges too, using your Impression Obsession stamps! See the I.O. blog for all the details - you might even win a $25 gift certificate!! We'd love to have you join us.

Also, mark your calendar to join the design team next week (Jan. 7-11) for a week of sneak peeks of the new stamps that will be released at CHA!! There will be daily prizes for readers who leave comments on all the designers' blogs, and a special prize drawing on Friday. All the details and links will be listed for you on the I.O. blog. I am super excited about the new dkdesigns stamps that are being released, and I can't wait to share them with you!!
Thanks for stopping by!
