Heartfelt Creations DT Alumni Hop

It's time again for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni monthly blog hop... We've chosen the last Tuesday of each month to share a project featuring Heartfelt Creations' stamps when we can, just for fun.  If you'd like a chance at winning a prize, be sure to leave a comment on every blog along the hop by Friday - there is a $25 gift certificate up for grabs for one random commenter! If you'd like to view the entire hop, click over to Sarah's blog to get started. If you're following along with the hop already and you've arrived here from Kristina's blog, you're doing just fine.

Here's another painted card, using acrylics - I started with a sheet of cardstock that's been protecting my workspace for a few weeks, so it had a random coating of paint and ink already on it. The flower stamps are from an older set, which seems to have been discontinued... it was one of the first stamp sets HC came out with when they began coordinating stamp sets with Spellbinders dies! I am so proud of how things have developed for them, and how far they have come since then!! So amazing. I actually had this in my 'sell' pile, but not anymore... I love the big bold florals for mixed media work like this!

Acrylic paint mixed with water works a lot like a watercolor paint, and adds a soft touch to the bold colors. I splattered some watered down paint (beige) and added more dots with the end of my paintbrush.

Ready to hop on? Your next stop is Emilia's blog! Thanks for joining us!!

Thanks for stopping by!
