Stamping with Jill - Teddy & Co.

Time for another post with Jill! We're working with the Teddy & Co. clear set today... this is such a sweet and versatile set, and I had so much fun with it! Another day I'll have to pull out the Flower Soft and fluff up the top image. So cute.

I stamped the bear image in Toffee ink, and watercolored a sort of monochrome scene, using Premium watercolors from ShinHan Art - I used a mixture of yellow and brown for my light and mid tones, and shaded by adding more brown to the mix. Some details were added with a watercolor pencil and a sepia tone gel pen.

I cut my oval and left my panel in the die while I was watercoloring so the piece would have a white frame around it. The sentiment I used is from an older set - I had a little problem with the sentiment from this one, but Penny Black has quick and awesome customer service, and they're sending me a replacement. Yeah!!

Make sure to check out Jill's post for the day!

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Wow! I love the monochromatic look for this image! I never would have thought to have done that. And you continue to WOW me with your coloring skills. I may need jaw surgery by the end of our collaboration because every time I come over here my jaw drops to the floor!! Have a great weekend! HUGS!
