you make my heart sing
Heather over at Skipping Stones Design sent me this new set to play with........ this is Heartsong and it will be released January 15th! 
It has been sooooooooo long since I've done a sketch challenge over at SCS - this is Sketch #313 and part of the challenge was to have an image extending outside of the rectangle. The bird is watercolored using reinkers and Inktense pencils.
For the background panels, I misted a few drops of Stormy Sky distress ink on a nonstick baking sheet, and laid cardstock down into the ink, then stamped the textures while the cardstock was still damp. (The tile pattern is from another SSD set called Timeless Textures.) I dyed the seambinding with Glimmer Mist and stamped the sentiment on a portion of a diecut.

Wow, I really like that set - and love the soft colors of your card, too! The floppy bow adds *just* the right touch of softness, too
