This week.....

My card won me a $50 gift certificate over at Art Impressions for their December contest...

...offers came for three four guest designer positions over the next few months (not all at once, whew!)... more on that later!

...I mailed off a box of card samples for CHA and got a sneak peek at the gorgeous new I.O. catalog supplement... feels soooo good to have a project done!!

...got a new desk that my knees fit under, and has shelf space for all my stuff...

...escaped for a birthday lunch with the girls...

...and found out that one of my cards is going to be published this summer!

I made this little banner to remind me of my word for the year, "today" - a reminder to me to focus on the present instead of worrying about the future! Spring semester tends to bring a lot of stress, and we are planning a trip to the States at the end of this year, so I seem to constantly have that on my mind (it is the perfectionist in me, wanting everything to be categorized, organized, and decluttered when we leave, planning just what needs to be brought home, stored, sold, burned, etc.) though there is just a whole lot of life to be lived between now and then!
