update......and a card.
Well....apparently my helper had a talk (though I'm not sure how respectfully...) with her relative about how she felt she was being treated, and she was told that it was up to her where she wanted to work, and she chose to stay with us...so I'm still a little uncertain about how it was handled or if there will still be pressure on her, but for now she's still mine! And I'm thankful.
Here's a card in celebration...I'm giving my stomach a break before CHEESECAKE...
This is one of Leigh Hannan's upcoming releases from Impression Obsession - you know me and brown...this scene just looks so inviting! The image is called Sanctuary, and will be available soon. It's colored with Neopiko alcohol markers and shaded with Prismacolor pencils and some sponged inks. The bubbles are white (mine is old and slightly yellowed...) Liquid Applique. I used a few other stamps on the card:
Cover-a-Card Dots (background stamp, stamped in Brilliance Pearlescent Beige)
Journaling 1 (clear stamp set - label)
TypeStacks Family Set (sentiment - clear set)
That's it for now - one more project to finish up tonight!
Love the warm tones of your bathroom scene Dina!! And the red paper and journaling label just make it POP!! Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous. I love the colours and your colouring.
