Uh...am I too late for chocolate?
Thought I'd better throw this card out there before it's too far into November... Halloween is past and isn't celebrated here, so we didn't do anything Saturday... not even sure why I made this card except that this image from Impression Obsession is just so fascinating to me - this is Jack Chandelier, one of the new Fall/Winter releases by Leigh Hannan. Other stamps used: Happy Halloween (Sarah Phelps). I stamped the image on grey linen cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils, with a few dots of white acrylic paint here and there. I used a black adhesive pearl, and drew little spidery legs on it...just for fun. The layer behind the oval is mulberry paper, which for some reason I have but never never use...I tore it to the right size, then crumpled it before adhering it to the card.
The IO team has a challenge for you this week - we are stamping wreaths! If you have Impression Obsession stamps and you'd like to join in the fun, see the IO Blog for details (link is to the left).
Great card. Love the little spider.
ReplyDeleteI bought a ton of IO at the convention in August and they only had the catty for fall then. I am so in trouble. I love their houses. This is so cute. Maybe I can find some plastic pumpkins and do this for real in my foyer?
ReplyDeleteSuch a GREAT image...cute card Dina!
