Looking collage - 5 ways!

Last month before we moved back overseas I sent out a few stamp sets as RAKs just for fun. Donelda was one of the recipients, and today she's featuring my "Looking Collage" set on her blog! How cool is that? It's really gratifying to see others using and enjoying my designs. Hmm...I think I'll keep 'em coming! Any requests?

Anyway, since Donelda shared her smARTworks cards, I thought I'd share a couple of mine that I hadn't posted yet. Card #1 is a rarity for me - all black and white. I combined a couple patterned papers, and grabbed one of hubby's plastic tie thingies...what are those called anyway? zip ties? Anyway, that added some dimension and also mimics the gingham panel, pulling the card together.

The second card is kind of an odd color combo, but since I'm working through those outdated paper pads page by page, I just get what comes next, and it was grey, with the green plaid again. The main panel on this card has several layers that don't really show well in the picture...there is, of course, the green plaid layer, then a layer of boy/chair, and then a dimensional layer of newspaper, raised slightly higher at the fold. The boy is colored with Prismacolor pencils.

If you'd like to see more uses for the Looking Collage set, or any other smARTworks set, be sure to visit the Design Team blog/gallery at http://smartworksdt.blogspot.com/ !
