Hello!

Every 2 months, our smARTworks Design Team is sent a stamp set as a challenge - this time we were sent the "Emerge" set...now how cute is that baby turtle? He comes with 4 different sayings that celebrate new beginnings and adventures.

When I made this card, I was still in Florida so pretty much everything was packed up...somehow I was able to find these coordinating paper scraps laying around. The turtle is paper-pieced - you can view him in detail below. His head is raised, as are his little front legs and torso, and the rest of him is behind the white layer, which is torn away around the eggshell. 4 layers in all.

"Emerge" can be yours, but there's a catch......the turtle, bless his (or her?) heart, needs a name. If you have a great idea, head over to In the Works, and leave your suggestion in a comment on Susan's Emerge post. If your suggestion is chosen, the set is yours!!
