Divine Design challenge
Finally I have something to share for Taylor's Divine Design challenge! (a scripture card on the 8th of the month) This is one of my favorite verses, which Sue at Heart and Soul Rubber Stamps has rubberized... thank you Sue! I used a flourish stamp from smARTworks' Stella set on a couple of the background panels.
I'm praying this verse for the friend I mentioned the other day, whose sister is in the hospital with complications from eclampsia - though apparently her blood pressure and organs had returned to normal, she had some bleeding in her brain that has left her permanently unconscious. The doctors felt that her heart wouldn't be able to take the strain past tomorrow. My friend Wanda lost her mom in February to diabetes, and now is watching her little sister die... Wanda's husband will be going to Jakarta in the morning to be with them - he is flying standby, so please pray that he will get the earliest flight possible. (6 am here so 6 pm EST in the States). We've just come home (it's 1 AM) from sitting with him for a few hours. They'll also be taking responsibility for the sister's 2 children (newborn and 6YO). Tough times - I can't imagine.
I cannot imagine what they are going thru either. How sad. Love your verse - it is so neat to think of God rejoicing over us with singing - how special is that?! Prayers for your friend & her husband.
ReplyDeleteawesome card along with really tough news...bless your heart all the way around.....
ReplyDeleteI am praying God's hand over your friend's sister and the whole family. Your card is beautiful. I always look forward to seeing your cards and especially to seeing Divine Design cards - all to the glory of God :) Thank you for the lovely inspiration. Elizabeth S. in mid-Michigan
ReplyDeleteDina, glad you were able to play along with Divine Design challenge this month : ) ! Your card and scripture are beautiful. I'll be praying for quick availability on a flight for Wanda's husband and for God's hand to bring peace and healing to this difficult situation. Blessings to you as you serve the Lord today!!!
ReplyDeleteYour last few words have left me in tears: "I can't imagine". I have just returned home after caring for 2 grandkids while Mom and Dad have been in the hospital birthing their 3rd baby. Mom is in high spirits; baby has a club foot, and otherwise perfect - and cute! The foot can be corrected: small problem. They are well. I can't imagine the other outcome. My prayers include that husband and his children.
ReplyDeleteThis a beautiful creation. I love the rustic colors and those neat button centers. What a wonderful scripture to have as a stamp!
ReplyDeleteI love this stamp, too - of course I love all the Heart & Soul scripture stamps, but I'm a rubber addict, so you knew that! LOL! I'm praying for everyone involved with the situation there.
