lunchtime!

I don't think I've shared this card yet....this background paper has an interesting memory for me...a trip to a scrapbook store that I thought was going to be relaxing turned into a panic attack because I had a limited time and they didn't have exactly what I wanted...not ideal conditions for someone as indecisive as me! I did fall in love with this paper collection, and of course I have the label "somewhere" but I'm not sure where today. If anyone can fill that info in for me, I'd appreciate it!

This set from smARTworks is called "Lunchtime" and consists of the framed frog image and 5 sayings that fit in the open sky portion. I watercolored the scene and added some sparkle to the water and the grasshopper, then trimmed around a few elements (the foot, a couple petals, and the grasshopper's wings) with my Xacto knife and popped them out a little for dimension.

We arrived safely to our destination in Missouri, and the kids are thankful to have a couple weeks to play and run without any long roadtrips until the 5th. We're thankful to be out of the car too, though we'll be sitting in classes for the next few days...at least no snowstorms, tornados, or flash floods!

  6. I know exactly what you mean about shopping faster than you really like to shop. I "need" time to savor those papers and consider upcoming plans! Love your darling card!
