Tea and me

Sorry for the early AM tea party post...We are going out of town around lunch time so I won't be around to post later...but my smARTworks compadres will be posting throughout the day, so be sure to check out their tea party challenge creations as they appear.

This week's sketch is courtesy of Trish, aka Tah Dah! There was an added challenge to add something from our embellishment stash...but...sigh...my embellishment stash is far, far away....so ya just get ribbon today.

The card features stamps from smARTworks which I designed (more to come next quarter - keep your eyes peeled!). I stamped the "Friends" image on watercolor paper and filled in a beach scene around the girls. The sentiment is 2 combined sets...from the set called "Being There" I used a partial stamp, substituting the "Thanks" from "Combo Sentiments."

I had another card to share, but I ended up ruining it...so I'll have to redo it for another day. Oh well!

My discovery of the week has been http://www.facebook.com/ - it has been really fun reconnecting with friends I haven't seen for years and never thought I'd see again!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the team created as they post throughout the day:
If you decide to try the layout too - link it here! I'd love to see what you come up with!

  1. What a great card - and great pairing up of the sentiment. Who wouldn't love to find this in their mailbox?! And as always, your coloring and ability to create a scene amaze me...

  2. Once again, Dina, you captured a moment, and I feel as if I'm there. Additionally, I like the criss-crossing of the ribbon and your color choices -- Seems everything ties together to reflect the sentiment. Great job!
