a little hog

These stamps from Penny Black have been on my wish list for-like-ever! Finally put them on my Christmas list and got a chance to play a few weeks back. This is another shot at the layout challenge from the recent Take Ten magazine, so this one (or the other one I made at the same time with the same scraps - not sure which got sent off...) is out for consideration for their next feature. We'll see!

The piggie (Swine and Roses - how cool is that?!) is watercolored and trimmed with my Coluzzle template. Patterned paper is all Basic Grey "Perhaps".

We're enjoying a weekend away - have had some meetings to present our ministry but otherwise just been 'hanging out' and that has been nice. Sent off a watermark order just a little bit ago, so I'm caught up on that. Today is my day to cook - we had "soto ayam" for lunch and in a little bit I need to go start some pizza dough.

Hope you're having a great weekend!
