Happy bird-day to me!

Yep, I'm a New Year's Baby...so thanks for ringing in my birthday last night! (though I pooped out last night before midnight and went to bed at 11:00.....)

Wow, a new year...hard to find the time for introspection as we have quite the houseful here (6 of us, with houseguests ( add 5), staying with my inlaws who take care of their 2 great-grandchildren during the day...)...I'm not one for resolutions but I do need to sit down and do some "listing" here soon - goals for our time here in the States - people/churches to visit, places to go, cards to send, friends to call, things to purchase...so that our time here isn't a waste. So far as we've spent time readjusting, enjoyed the holidays with family, and had our friends here - not a lot has been accomplished. That's probably a good thing, actually. In addition to the "busy" things we need to accomplish while we are here - we really need times to unwind as well. 2007 was quite a year.

OK, enough of the introspection. On to the good stuff! It's my birthday, after all! I have a couple of cutie tootie stamps sets to give away, and in the theme of bird-days...well...bird stamps, of course! So...2 prizes this time.

What to do:
1. Leave a comment on this post. Any comment at all will do for the "little birdie told me" set.

2. Or, take a guess at what I cook every year for my birthday dinner. For the 2nd set, I'll choose a winner from those who guess correctly.

I'll draw names Saturday at 9 pm eastern time. Sound good? Off you go then! As for me...I think I'll find some breakfast. Or maybe DH will make me an omelette...

  2. Happy Birthday--may this year be the best one ever for you. As for the bird set, I do believe anything with birds would be my favorite and this set has adorable bird images as well as the sentiments that are very usable. And for dinner, I am not sure, but maybe would guess pizza. Wish me luck.

  3. Happy Birthday Dina!!!!! I'm going to guess your birthday dinner is pizza, based on how your banner used to look (love the pencils you have now, btw - and it doesn't make me hungry when I go to your blog like it used to!) :-) I already have the ADORABLE first set, so if you happen to draw me, please pick another winner! I hope everyone reading this post realizes you designed those cuties!!

  8. This is hard!!! First of all, I had no idea you designed those birds. They are adorable - BOTH sets! Ok....I am "into" birds these days...as is most of the stamping world - or so it seems. As for your birthday dinner.....At first I thought spaghetti and meatballs...now I am thinking beans and rice. I don't know why, but that is sticking in my head. Happy Bird-Day! I hope it's wonderful!
