and a partridge in a pear treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Every two months as a design team we are issued a "challenge set" - each team member has to create a project using the same set, but "making it their own." This was our second challenge as a team, and this Pear Tree set was the set that was chosen.

You can see all the cards that were submitted here in the smARTworks gallery...but I want to share one here that I'm particularly proud of, just because it was soooooooo different from the other entries and soooooooo fun to make. I cracked up the entire time I was making it!

This card is a Stamp-a-ma-jig triumph. :) The saying uses 3 different sets - a portion of the saying above, ABC02 (alphabet set), and a single word from the Special Happy set, which you'll see again tomorrow...! Not sure where the line of brads came from...it is maybe a little too bold even, but it pulls the corners of the card in, and fills up the space nicely. For what it's worth.

(Still working on that envelope book tutorial for y'all...I'm just not able to make it a huge priority during the day, with so much other stuff going on...but the text is done, and I just need to tuck the pictures in.....that seems to take the longest!)

  2. Cute card! One stamping item I'd love for Christmas is a scallop circle punch - either SU or Marvy!
