mass prod

I've been doing a lot of mass production this week, with several goals in mind - one, to get birthday cards made for the month; two, to make some card bases so I can just slap on an appropriate sentiment when I need a card; and three, to keep using up my endless supply of scraps and "almost cards" - colored images that never made it on a completed project. So...here was day one of the mass production - I accomplished only one of the goals, really, which was using up scraps. All these card bases use the scrap scrip technique (tutorial linked to the right). I have an unreasonable amount of green scraps at the moment...

Stamp credits:
bear - smARTworks (Sweater Teddy)
saying - TAC (2 partial stamps (happy happy) birthday, and blessings (to you)
stem - hand drawn

Other stuff - sweaters are pieced. The grass is torn paper, and clouds are done using a scalloped circle as a mask. Prismacolor pencils on the bears.

Happy news - running water! Now if the power would stop going out................

  1. Neat idea with the scraps, I may get in there & try it - goodness knows I have plenty of scraps!!! (& I sure need some cards in my stash)
Glad you're water is running - our is just about off today, just a trickle. Must be a problem further down the line! Hope you have a great day! I'm off to check out your tutorial.
