altered prima container
Jacki sent me this Prima container in a care package a little while back, and it just begged to be altered (though my 4YO daughter also had her eye on it...). It's basically a plastic sleeve with 2 box ends, so I took it apart, and wrapped the ends like I would a Christmas present (ooh, goodness, that's coming up far too quickly...), folding the excess paper in. I put it back together, tucked some packets of tea inside, and attached the tag with ribbon. The ribbon is threaded through the center of the flower.
All stamps used are by smARTworks. This tag uses the Tea Bitties set . The verse is sold individually. (click on the set names to see other cards made using these sets!). Love that verse. Learning more each day what it means.
I positioned that teeny teacup with my Stamp-a-ma-jig, and the brown there is watercolored. A little steam is added coming out of each cup - glitter pen - maybe you can see that? The shadow's a little weird there in the picture.
We're coming up on a big holiday weekend here, as the dominant religion here wraps up their month of fasting. The general feel here is celebration - lots of shopping (it was like Christmas at the mall yesterday...) and lots of eating. Most communities will also gather together to ask forgiveness for their sins against one another, intentional or otherwise. Get it all out at once, start over with a clean slate. Interesting times...
Awesome!
