have a grape day!
Thought I'd post an older card that didn't make the blog...this is one of those cards I made and loved so much I couldn't bear to send it to anyone. Have any of those?!
Stamps are by Stampa Rosa (if you love the images they are available now from Stampabilities - but for me there's just something about having the originals), except that background grape cluster stamp - that's from My Heart Stamps for You. This was originally a Splitcoast sketch challenge card...but I don't remember the number. Coloring is done with Prismacolor pencils, blending with their colorless blender pencil.
I dug in my scrap stash for the background panels - that top right panel was a leftover piece done using the polished stone technique. I love the little grape charm - sometimes I find a little store here that carries little gems like that - charms, buttons, ribbon, jewelry findings - and they are a treasure. I haven't found one since we changed islands, which is kind of sad...but I do still have the horde of the ones I found before we moved!
Hope you have a great (grape?!) week!
This is a delightful AND beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteAww this is so cute! The background colors and patterns look perfect with this image, and the coloring is great.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! I don't blame you for not wanting to give it away. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like this card. I like your various backgrounds. Cute!
