Triple digits - it's blog cannoli time!

(hey Mabel, what's blog cannoli? Is that anything like blog candy?)

I dunno about you, but if I had an appetite right now - I'd much rather have this than candy. Seriously.

OK! MY hundredth post - means triple digits...

Triple digits means....

LEt's give away 3 digital watermarks. Anyone interested? :) Your choice of the current designs, free of charge. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post...just for fun (and not related to the drawing at all) - see if you can guess what my favorite ice cream topping is (hint: it's not gross, just a little untraditional). I'll pick 3 winners Monday after lunch my time, which should be close to midnight CA time Sunday night.

Comment away!

An update on me......maybe being on my feet and cooking a dinner (beef stew, biscuits, and 2 pies) for my husband's birthday dinner (+ 2 families with 3 kids each, the ones that are leaving the country soon) was not such a good idea? My temp shot up to 102.8, right before we were going to eat. Ugh, I was so embarrassed. I had my husband excuse me because I knew if I did it I would cry. Went and laid down in the AC and felt better after a while. Today I still have a temp, but "only 100.5". I told a friend to text me later and make sure I'm laying down, and told my helper not to let me do any work. *whimper* I'm terrible at being sick. Especially when my head feels pretty clear. Sigh.......................

  1. Hmmm! Favorite, untraditional ice cream topping..wow..asking someone who so isn't into toppings or ice cream for that matter makes it tough. Mind you my son (he's 21)loves smarties, sprinkles, choc chips, choc syrup and whatever else he can find on his ice cream. My guess is you like a jam topping. I did make a "bananaberry" freezer jam (strawberries & bananas)that was horrible (my opinion) on toast but heavenly on ice cream.

  2. Hi Dina! I enjoy reading your blog, especially the fact that you are actually out of the country living in some exotic location! Are you missionaries? I haven't been reading for long, so I don't know your story. I'm glad your fever is going down!

  4. Happy 1st day of Spring!! :-) I've been taking pics of the magnolia tree by the dining hall, trying to get some good close-ups. Other flowers are beginning to bloom, and it's warming up ~ yay!

I should know what kind of icecream topping you like, but I don't think I do. I'm gonna say raisins, tho I suppose that's not so untraditional. :-)

  12. I am probably the only person on the face of the civilized world who does not like ice cream ( I do like frozen yogurt tho) but I will eat most anything with peanut butter or garlic on it.

For you, I am gonna say salsa on vanilla ice cream. I have seen this and its not gross-just hot and cold. my dad used to put pepper on his and salt on his watermelon. I have been known to clean up an onion and eat it like an apple. I am not a dessert person either. I eat oatmeal for a treat-yeah, I am wierd.

  25. What a wonderful give away. Thanks for the opportunity. I am now a subscriber to your blog. Love all your work. Let's see -- it better not be Marmite. I hate the stuff!! Could it be your favourite is one of mine? Molassis. Untraditional, but then again, my dad was a very untraditional man and he taught me to love it on icecream.

  26. Hmmm, I'll take a guess at something non-traditional, but I think it might taste kinda gross though- honey or maple syrup.

  36. How about strawberry jam as a topping? I know that if I am out of the conventional toppings that if I heat a little strawberry jam, it makes a wonderful ice cream topping.
I have been admiring your watermarks and would love to have one of my own. Thanks for the chance to get one.
