No time to stamp...sigh...

My Wednesday challenge card is still lying in pieces on my desk - I haven't even had time to stick it all together yet! I guess that's partly because I don't like it...I did take time during a couple movies to finish up 48 thank you cards for the people who support our ministry financially...now to find time to write a little note in them all...and find the money to send them all overseas...! We have had to pay about $1.65 per card for international postage. *choke*

Here is an older card, just for the sake of posting something. This was a SCS sketch challenge with a large main panel.

This little man is from Anitas - he used to have a frame around him but I trimmed that off. Does that make me a bad person? :) Other stamps...the big tree set is from Straightforward Stamps, formerly owned by Biblical Impressions - I have no idea what's happened to this line now that Biblical Impressions has been bought by Eureka Stamps...the grass stamp is from Biblical Impressions (still available), small tree from Creative Impressions, birds from TAC, and I used the fern stamp from WC Minis for the trees in the background, for texture in the big tree, and for a little texture on the path. The path is done with watercolor pencils - I marked an imaginary horizon point then drew two lines from there with a watercolor pencil and blended them in with a water brush or blender pen, I can't remember which now. I used a TAC crackle background stamp over the top 2 layers, and french script on the card base by Jody Poesy (now from Stamping Sensations). Coloring is Prismacolor pencils blended with baby oil. I am loving that corner punch - my hubby bought it for me 2 Christmases ago and I never really got to use it. It makes a nice distraction in a broad corner like that.
