I love the worn-ness of the potter's wheel... I also wanted to incorporate some favorite song lyrics and verses about pottery, potters, and clay into the design, so I wrote those into the wheel using an oil-based pencil - it's not a perfect resist, but I like that too.
I'm working with Shinhan Premium Watercolors - love getting my palette messy and combining colors.
I'm working on the hands and arms now, so don't look at those too closely - just wanted to show you a closer peek at the wheel.
