Our challenge this time around was WHITE. I guess that's open for interpretation, but I chose to go with white panels and texture on my card. This super cute image is called Homespun Christmas, part of Alesa Baker's line. I used Prismacolor pencils to color the image, blending with odorless mineral spirits, in a light vintage color scheme. I used some Martha Stewart "Carrara Marble" glitter to fill the cup. The textured panel was embossed using a Fiskars texture plate, and I made the bow with my Bow-Easy.
Be sure to check in with the rest of the DT to see what they created! Also, a warm welcome to Rosemary Marino, who is joining the I.O. team!
That is gorgeous, Dina! Gossamer beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Dina. I love the light, new, blog background.

ReplyDeleteYou rocked this image Dina with those colored pencils! I just love how soft and pretty this card is!
ReplyDeleteOmiGOSH Dina, your colouring is some of the BEST I've ever seen! I WISH I could come there for lessons, because I am most definitely "colouring-challenged." This is yet another FABULOUS card. My card was posted a day late because of a blogger scheduler glitch, but it's finally on my blog.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out gorgeous!! I gotta tell ya, this was a hard challenge for me, but fun!
ReplyDeleteI would like to invite you to check out a "March for the Snowmen" Blog Hop I am participating in tomorrow. Probably 1/2 of the particpates are giving away blog candy!
