I'm having a hard time sneak peek-ing new Impression Obsession images for Fall & Winter when I haven't even shown you all the Summer ones yet! Here, though, is my favorite of the new stamps being revealed at CHA in a couple of weeks...I'll show you the whole card on Thursday!

I wanted to share a couple cards I made using the "
More Coffee" set by Sarah Phelps. This is a fun set with lots of possibilities! On this card I stamped the background panel with the coffee bean border, and colored the beans in with Prismacolor pencils. The focal panel is stamped and colored directly on the DP - why do I not do that more often? The swirl comes from the
Lucky Ladybugs set, also by Sarah. Coconut shell buttons are always a fun accent, as is faux stitching. :)

Here's a close-up on that coffee pot...love how the pencil shading makes it pop right off the paper:

Card #2 is pretty straightforward - the texture is done with Fiskars texture plates, and the mugs are colored with Prismacolor pencils. Nice sometimes to have cards that stay 'multi-purpose'.
Blog candy is still up for grabs - if you're reading my blog via a reader or feed, make sure to come over to the actual site - I put a direct link at the top of the right-hand column so you can find the current giveaway post easily.
OK, now *I* need coffee! Hope you have a great week!
