I hadn't yet pulled out the "Farewell" set except to use the grass stamp, so I thought I'd feature that one today. The set is adorable...it reminds me of a sweet older friend who told me that when she was growing up she remembered missionaries leaving to move overseas, and everyone going down to the harbor and singing "God be with you till we meet again". Such a different picture these days! Anyway, the set can be found here, if you feel enabled...there are the grass stamps (one long border, and 2 "tufts" in different sizes), 3 children waving (back views - you know I love them!), and 3 sayings.

Even though it evokes a little misting of the eyes, I truly love it.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty Dina! I really love the image and the softness of everything is very sweet! Like the new pic too!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a tearjerker - those soft colors really help set the mood. Love the scored detail on the sentiment, too.
ReplyDeleteDina, if I could I'd be there at that harbor sending you off. Your committment to your mission is unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card. Another image from you?? Great job, especially considering you are living out of a suitcase!!
wow. I'm speechless. Your work is inspiring. I nominated you for something. You'll have to go to my blog to read all about it.
