Stamp credits and other shtuff:
The big kitty and paws are from Biblical Impressions - I haven't pulled him out for a long time so it was fun to use him again. There's actually a right and left paw, but whichever one this was I just stamped it twice, 'cause I didn't want to pull both of them out. Can't tell anyway, can you?...and who really cares...? Coloring is done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. The saying stamp is from Stampola - I'm not sure if they still have this image or not...they tried to go out of business once and had a huge sale, then came back again, but not with their complete previous line. Check around their site, or inquire if you're interested. The paws are popped with foam tape, and I used a Sakura clear glaze pen on the eyes so they'd be a little shiny. The little tag tucks right in behind the kitty. Jacki sent me that tab punch - thank you friend! And just for her - a dot of acrylic paint in the center of my flower brad ;) (and yes, it really is centered - it just looks off because the light is catching one side of it - I couldn't wait until it was dry to take the picture.......)
What a sweet card - I know your friend will love it! I can't tell about the paws either - looks fine to me. I'm so glad your move is getting closer & that the house help has been "resolved" (well, sort of). Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteTooooooooo cute! I just love this stamp. I know she will enjoy & appreciate this work of art!
ReplyDeleteI love that kitten. I have had that stamp for some time and not really known what to do with it until this week when I came across another blog using that same stamp. http://inksomething.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled to see more examples to inspire me to use that kitten stamp more. That is a clever saying also. I could probably print it with snap stamps or print it on the computer. Thanks for the inspiration. Take care and God bless, Elizabeth S.
way cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is super cute and to think you did most of it by candle light! You are amazing :)
