Impression Obsession - Old is New

With such a huge collection of wonderful stamps from so many artists, sometimes the older stamps in the Impression Obsession catalog find their way out of the spotlight. We don't want them to be forgotten, so from now on you'll be seeing our team feature them regularly. We hope you're inspired!

CAC Calico
Square Shaker Frame Die

I'm starting to see little signs of spring, and that made me think of a collection of stamps I drew that were inspired by a spring trip to Arizona 5 years ago - there are several blooming cacti but this one is my favorite, available in 2 sizes. My base on this first card is a piece of cardstock I used to clean my brayer while I was gel printing - those accidental prints are always my favorite. The frame die is impressed without cutting through, just for added interest. Image is colored with QoR watercolor paints, which I adore.

Expect Miracles

For this card, I stamped and watercolored the image on Canva-Paper - it's such versatile stuff! Dotty details are done with acrylic paint, applied with a very small stylus.

Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for inspiration - see the I.O. blog for all the details! Remember our floral challenge as well - so many pretty images to choose from!
Thanks for stopping by!
